In this role, the Account Coordinator will be responsible for the successful implementation of all marketing campaign initiatives for company clients. This successful individual will coordinate all aspects of the marketing implementation strategy with the design and development team; and work closely with clients and the Marketing Director to understand, implement, and achieve goals and expected outcomes for each client.

We are looking for an individual who is a team player with very strong written and oral communication skills who is highly organized, a problem solver, and very detail oriented. Applicants must have 2-3 years of experience and knowledge in marketing best practices. They should demonstrate creativity, intelligence, and enthusiasm. Some essential functions include:

  • Support internal and consulting team to achieve project goals and ensure results by counseling and correcting employees/consultants; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Successfully implement marketing plans and programs for each client
  • Support the Lead Marketing Director in the development of messaging strategies, communications plans, social media plans and full marketing plans for clients
  • Attend strategy meetings
  • Establish and maintain relations with customers
  • Identify, understand, and implement initiatives that achieve client goals
  • Support in marketing research
  • Create competitive analysis for the Marketing Director
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed
  • Regularly support business development when interacting with clients
  • Support in tactical execution of marketing initiatives
    • Support the execution of social media campaigns
    • Content/blog post writing
    • Create and execute email marketing campaigns
    • Editing and proof-reading
    • Creation and execution of marketing programs across digital, email, direct mail, or any other medium needed to support campaign goals
    • Pulling of campaign metrics and creation of marketing dashboard clients 

Education/Experience requirements:

  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing
  • High-level communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the current marketing environment, including social media marketing and advertising
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • High level of grammatical and written knowledge
  • Computer “savvy” 

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact and MailChimp
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress or use of website content management systems
  • Basic knowledge of Sprout Social or similar social media publishing platform
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Advanced writing skills
  • Working knowledge of advertising on Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest
