In this role, the Project Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Account Manager & Account Supervisor in project execution and coordinating project teams to successfully complete creative projects including graphic design, website design and development, and digital campaigns. These activities include adding website content, coordinating with website developers and designers to complete site updates and site maintenance, site testing, checking site rendering, coordinating and organizing documents, working with content management systems, email marketing, and other project management activities. Individuals must have experience with general computer programs (Microsoft), creative software (Adobe), email marketing platforms (such as Constant Contact) and a familiarity with WordPress content management systems. This person must be motivated to learn, detail oriented, possess strong communication skills, extremely organized, a good communicator, critical thinker and a self-starter. This role offers opportunity for learning and advancement.
Some essential functions include:
- Project coordination
- Content organization and implementation into website content management system
- Working with site developers and designers on site updates
- Running site tests to ensure accuracy, correct functionality and optimal display
- Content editing/proofreading
- Administrative tasks such as data entry
- Occasionally attend networking opportunities if requested
- Run, analyze and evaluate data reports
- Support the Account Manager in establishing and maintaining client relationship
- Make website updates as needed (through website content management systems – coding capabilities not required)
- Update content and photos in WordPress
- Support internal marketing initiatives
- Support administrative duties as needed
- Attend strategy meetings
- Take thorough meeting notes and assist on strategy implementation
- Website testing
- Communicate tasks clearly
- Execute tasks in a timely manner
- Follow standard operating procedures
Education/Experience requirements:
- BS/BA in Marketing or related field
- High level of communication and organizational skills
- Extremely detail oriented
- Computer “savvy”
