Part-Time Position

In this role, the Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team delivery of a workflow solution to the client(s) using the appropriate methodology and business measurements. The project manager has overall responsibility for ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and as requested by the client. We are looking for an individual who is a leader and a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with client management.

Applicants are preferred to have experience managing client expectations, external consultants, and internal staff to complete projects on time and on budget. Hands on experience as a PM for Salesforce is preferred. We are looking for someone who demonstrate strategic thinking, creativity, intelligence, enthusiasm and self-motivation.

Some essential functions include:

  • Project Management
    • Lead client meetings, take notes when needed and manage implementation / execution by internal teams
    • Communicate project tasks clearly
    • Update / tracking projects through internal project management tools
    • Set up timelines and manage project teams to ensure successful and timely completion of workflow projects, changes, and ad hoc projects
    • Identify scope of work and client requirements for communication to internal project teams
    • Manage internal and external relationships to ensure projects are completed on time, in budget and in scope
    • Test and review all work completed by the project assistant, developers, and designers
    • Ensure quality control of all deliverables and that all projects are tested for accuracy and functionality
    • Manage internal employees and consulting team to achieve project goals and ensure results by planning, monitoring and appraising work
    • Support project implementation as needed (this includes updating website through content management system) to meet deadlines
    • Ensure that time is tracked properly for invoicing of any billable work and that invoicing is sent out in a timely manner
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Proactively communicate status to clients
    • Partner with the client to identify and manage the scope of work to ensure alignment between deliverables and client expectations
    • Ensure alignment between deliverables and client expectations
    • Problem solve any issues that may arise with the clients
    • Manage client expectations
  • Team Development
    • Identify and successfully implement continuous process improvements to increase efficiencies
    • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize project profitability
    • Mentor, train, and coach junior team members
    • Assist in the hiring of junior team members
  • Process Improvement
    • Review project profitability weekly
    • Initiate and drive project efficiencies
    • Identify, suggest, and implement process and project improvement opportunities
    • Ensure all SOPs are followed by team members
    • Oversee the successful implementation of SOPs by all

Education/Experience requirements:

  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Experience in Salesforce and/or Zoho is preferred
  • 3-5 years Project management experience
  • High level of communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Computer and tech “savvy”
