Nonprofit Council: Why You Should Skip Giving Tuesday and What You Should Do Instead

Every year, nonprofits spend weeks planning Giving Tuesday campaigns, creating social media posts, writing emails, and asking supporters to give. But what if it’s no longer the fundraising opportunity many organizations think it is?

Think about it. Thousands of nonprofits are asking people to give on the very same day. Is that really where your organization’s time and energy are best spent?

Join us on October 27th for our October Nonprofit Council as Whitney Brimfield from Spark Point challenges conventional thinking about Giving Tuesday and shares a different approach to year-end fundraising.

What You’ll Learn

    • Why Giving Tuesday may be costing your nonprofit more than you realize
    • Why collecting donations isn’t the same as building donor relationships
    • What’s missing from most year-end fundraising strategies
    • How to make better use of your limited fundraising time and resources

Who Should Attend

    • Nonprofit executive directors and leadership teams
    • Fundraising and development professionals
    • Nonprofit marketing and communications professionals who support fundraising efforts
    • Anyone responsible for donor engagement or year-end fundraising
