Paradigm Marketing and Design Leads Successful Charity Initiative

TABOR, N.J. – Paradigm Marketing and Design collected and donated an impressive 250 pounds of food for the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry earlier this month, marking the completion of its first-quarter charity initiative of 2016.

From January through the end of March, the agency and its clients and partners built up a stockpile of the Pantry’s most requested items – including canned fruits and vegetables, infant formula and specialty food products. At the beginning of April, the Paradigm team dropped off the goods to the Pantry’s Morris Plains location.

The Interfaith Food Pantry describes itself as a community of neighbors helping neighbors who are committed to ending hunger and supporting self-sufficiency. Through its community partners, the Pantry provides food, education and resources to inspire confidence and hope to Morris County families in need. On average, the Pantry distributes approximately 15,000 pounds of food to 325 families each week.

“Thanks to our incredibly generous donors, we were able to bring an entire car full of nonperishable items to the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry,” says Paradigm founder and owner, Rachel Durkan. “With 250 pounds of food donated, we placed enough on the Pantry’s shelves to help feed seven families for an entire week – which speaks volumes about the selflessness of our staff, partners, clients and vendors. The Food Pantry is a tremendous resource for the Morris County community, and the families who utilize it are so deserving.”

Each quarter, Paradigm asks one of its staff members to head up a new charity initiative; the food drive was Durkan’s suggestion. The goal is for the staff to use their visions and talents to better themselves while also bettering the community.
