Memorial Day weekend is finally upon us! Here in New Jersey, this means the unofficial start to the summer. The beaches (known to many of us as the Jersey Shore) will be packed, and people will take a break from their cellular devices to engage in some real face to face relationships with their family and friends.
As a business, how do you handle your marketing campaigns during the summer? Do you continue to maintain the same plan that you have been working on throughout the year? It’s probably wise to take into consideration that the summer is different than let’s say, October or February.
Because you can anticipate that fewer people will be spending time on their Smartphones and laptops, and more time on the beach, in the backyard or at the pool, then you should take this opportunity to gear up for the fall. Come late August-early September, you should be ready with your marketing campaign in full throttle.
We found a great infographic from Constant Contact that we think will help you get a jumpstart on your marketing plan for the full while your target market takes a vacation, literally.
So, get your rest this summer, but know what you should be expecting and prepare yourself for the fall because you definitely want a heads up on your competition.
