Paradigm Marketing & Design is thrilled to announce that Lorena Mosquera, Paradigm’s Workflow Strategist, has been named among the winners of the 2023 Boy Scouts of America Tribute to Women Award. This award is given to women who serve as exemplary role models for youth through their avocations and who live their lives according to the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America.
“I am humbled and honored to be named among the winners of this prestigious award alongside so many distinguished women,” said Lorena. “I have a profound respect for the Boy Scouts of America’s dedication to encouraging compassion, building character, and helping young people learn how to overcome challenges through their own self-determination. The time my son spent in Boy Scout summer camps is among the happiest memories he holds from his childhood. As someone who grew up in a low-income household with immigrant parents, I am grateful that the fundraising efforts made through the awards dinner will give more kids the opportunity to experience Boy Scout summer camps.”
“Lorena’s dedication to helping Paradigm’s clients thrive is only surpassed by her dedication to helping her community,” said Rachel Durkan, President of Paradigm. “She has an unwavering drive to make the world a better place each and every day, and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have her on our team. We are proud of Lorena for this well-deserved honor.”
Lorena is one of five female community leaders receiving the award from the Boy Scouts of America. The local Council, Boy Scouts of America serves over 14,000 young men and women in Northern and Central New Jersey. The organization operates summer camps welcoming 2,000 attendees each session, at which no child is denied entry even if they cannot afford to pay.
In addition to the Tribute to Women distinction, Lorena was awarded the 2023 Bronze Stevie Award for Sales Operations Professional of the Year and 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year, Leader in Business award by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. She has also been a finalist in the NJ Digi-Tech Awards with NJ BIZ and for the Entrepreneur of the Year award with Leading Women Entrepreneur. Outside of her role with Paradigm, Lorena is the Co-Chair of the Women’s Business Leaders Council and an active member of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Sussex and Morris Counties, a program that supports and promotes best interest child advocacy so that every child and youth placed in foster care and other out-of-home placements can be safe, have a permanent home, and the opportunity to thrive.
The award will be presented at the Mary A. Mulholland Service Award Luncheon on November 16th. The luncheon raises funds to support child abuse prevention programs administered by the Boy Scouts of America.
