Earns Recognition for NAM Social Digital Advertising
PINE BROOK, N.J., January 17, 2023 Paradigm Marketing & Design has once again been named among the winners of the 59th Anniversary American Graphic Design Awards by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). These awards honor the best graphic design work of the year in categories across all media including print and collateral, branding and packaging, advertising and sales promotion, direct mail and direct response, magazines and books, signage and wayfinding, broadcast and video, internet and interactive, and social media. Among other projects, Paradigm was recognized for its work with the New American Movement for People with Disabilities (NAM) on their social digital advertising.
“NAM is an incredible organization working to change the social, political, and economic structure of our society so that all people, including those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, can live in it with pride as equals,” said Rachel Durkan, President of Paradigm. “Not only are we thrilled and honored by this award to have the hard work and incredible talent of our team recognized, but we are also grateful for the exposure it brings to a wonderful organization and important cause.”
For nearly six decades, GDUSA has sponsored design competitions that spotlight areas of excellence and opportunity for creative professionals. The American Graphic Design Awards™ is the flagship competition and is open to everyone in the community – graphic design firms, advertising agencies, inhouse corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media, freelancers, and students. This year the organization received more than 14,000 entries, of which a very selective five percent have been named winners, according to GDUSA.
Paradigm’s award-winning work with NAM includes a compelling social digital advertising campaign on Facebook and Instagram to increase the organization’s followers and reach. The ads feature people with intellectual and developmental disabilities sharing how NAM helps them live the campaign’s theme, “Find Your Voice.”
In addition to its work with NAM, Paradigm was also recognized for its work with Llanzo Single Cask Rum for their website design and MedCloud on their logo design. Over the last several years, Paradigm has earned several awards and distinctions, most notably the 2021 Excellence Member of the Year award, given by the New Jersey Business and Industry Association. Paradigm President Rachel Durkan won a Silver Stevie Award for Business Development Executive of the Year, and Sales and Marketing Director, Vicki Harte, was awarded a Bronze Stevie Award for Sales Director of the Year. Rachel has been recognized personally as an NJBIZ 40 Under 40 honoree and a 2020 Enterprising Women of the Year awardee.
