Part Time to Full Time Position

In this role, the Marketing Assistant will support the social media, marketing, and creative project teams in marketing operations. We are looking for an individual with strong writing and technical skills as well as an understanding of the social media environment.  This person must be self-motivated, eager to learn, be extremely organized and detail oriented, demonstrate strong communication skills, creativity, intelligence and enthusiasm. Some essential functions include:

  • Content creation
  • Editing/proofreading
  • Support of marketing project teams by sourcing content and scheduling social media posts
  • Writing and creating emails using Constant Contact, MailChimp or other email platforms
  • Administrative tasks such as data entry, organization and content organization
  • Proofing, testing and checking of websites, designs, and documents
  • Conduct client/market/social media research as needed
  • Information sourcing
  • Run, analyze and evaluate data reports for management review
  • Making website edits within a CMS system
  • Support of internal marketing initiatives
  • Support of sales outreach campaigns and projects
  • Loading and management of lists within a CRM
  • Strategy meeting attendance
  • Detailed meeting note taking
  • Organization of team calendars, as needed
  • Support of management in administrative duties, as needed

Education/Experience requirements:

  • One year of marketing experience preferred
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field
  • High level of communication and organizational skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strong writing skills
  • Computer “savvy”
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working in a remote environment
